The many and various ways I pass the time now has a new addition. Usually it involves drinking coffee whilst sitting at a computer keeping in touch with chums, or sipping wine sitting on our tiny terrace catching the sun, and wondering what else I can do to avoid any cleaning or tidying or putting away of stuff and things that aren't even MINE. And now I am going to type this blog. Provided that doesn't become a chore as well, in which case...
That made me chuckle. I love Eeyore.
ReplyDeleteWho can but not? Especially the original proper Eeyore.
DeleteSub-text - just wait, it'll happen. :-) Another Eeyore fan here. After all I'm married to one......
ReplyDeleteAnother good game is if you were a Muppet, which Muppet would you be? I have a hankering to be Animal, but I am not allowed a drum kit, especially not with a piano I barely touch these days.
DeleteI haven't a clue as the Muppets happened when we didn't have TV. :-)
DeleteI hope the snow and icy winds stop soon and you get some spring weather.
ReplyDeleteWhile I was in Auckland the weekend before last there was a small earthquake - the largest since 2007 my first one.
Eeeek! You Pacific-rimmers have got some guts
DeleteWell said, Eeyore!
ReplyDeleteYes, Lesa. Milne was a very wise author.

|____| ....{it's supposed to be a snowman laughing his carrot off, but he's looking a bit more like an earthquake victim.. Oh dear, I do hope you all get some spring weather soon. Blessings for Easter.
Deep bow to you, thank you and welcome, Yamini.
DeleteWe have already been blessed - car passed its MOT. It's enough for one week!
See a blog or two back - we have spring on our windowsills. It's all a girl can do, in the circs.
It's all right, we've had the earthquake for you...
ReplyDeleteSo generous of you to take that on, fly. We have had heavy falling snow and a thaw melting the lying stuff simultaneously. I have been scratching my head, somewhat.
